ABOUT MURALS

Kerri Ferrara is a practicing interior designer and artist living in Brooklyn, New York. While being a painter since the age of 11, murals only started a few years ago when a friend asked if she could paint a tree in her baby’s room,…and a new love was born. However, murals were a natural fit for her love of painting and her talents and training in interior design and architecture.

“Whether I’m designing the space itself or deciding on how a mural can complement existing architecture, I love being able to transform an average space into something inspiring and powerful with the simple mediums of paint, color and composition.”

Her work has been featured in local galleries and art shows and she is widely known for ‘Her Girls” (as her friends like to call them), which are fun and lively fashion-inspired illustrations, representing Powerful, Fun, and Sassy Ladies! She received a commission to paint one of “Her Girls” larger-than-life in a private residence, and since then the “Girls” have taken on lives of their own and living happily in their new environments.

She has a great deal of experience helping residential and business owners plan out and execute stimulating spaces and unique murals in a variety of styles. She designs and creates the murals which are drawn on the wall and painted by hand. Prices vary and are formulated based on size and level of detail.
